Your Denmark Viking Trip

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:00 am

Denmark was once a hotbed for Viking activity and people have been visiting for centuries to learn more about the fabled warriors. If you’re thinking of taking a trip this year there’s never been a better time. Use your http://get.wildblue.com/ internet to find great flight deals and tour packages and don’t forget to hit up these great Viking landmarks:
Viking Center – Located in Jutland (Ribe) the Viking Center was once the center of all activities for this community including shopping and politics. There’s now a museum built in place to commemorate years of Viking ownership.
Viking Ship Museum – Located in Sealand the ship museum has dull scale models and a lot of hands on activities which makes it great for kids. It was built in the bay of a former Viking settlement.
The National Museum – If you’re in Copenhagen you’ve got to hit up the National Museum where you’ll find a brief timeline and some additional details about the Viking voyage. There’s a lot to see here and you’ll get context surrounding the Viking assaults as well.
